Steven L. Dube practices in the areas of transactional real estate and land use law. Mr. Dube represents owners and developers in the establishment of residential, office, retail and mixed-use condominium regimes in the District of Columbia, and throughout Maryland and Virginia. Mr. Dube has also represented numerous developers in the establishment of residential homeowners' associations and cooperative regimes in the District of Columbia and Maryland.

As part of his condominium development practice, Mr. Dube represents clients in the negotiation and settlement of condominium statutory warranty claims and advises clients on matters relating to RESPA and the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act. In addition, he frequently prepares complex declarations of covenants, easements and restrictions for office, retail, residential and mixed-use communities, often involving air rights parcels. Mr. Dube also represents owners of commercial and multi-family residential properties in sale and purchase transactions and represents institutional lenders and borrowers in construction and permanent loan transactions.

During law school, Mr. Dube was a Root-Tilden-Kern Scholar and editor of the New York University Review of Law and Social Change.

Prior to entering law school, Mr. Dube taught religion and coached the Mock Trial Team at DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland and taught English at a national, public high school in Paris, France.
