Susan M. Reutershan practices in the area of land use, zoning, land development, real estate, administrative and municipal law. She has extensive experience representing clients in all phases of the land use and development process including rezonings, special use permits, variances, preliminary plans of subdivision, comprehensive sketch plans, project plans, site plans, historic preservation issues, building and occupancy permits, impact fees, water and sewer category changes, master plans, annexations, vested rights, adequacy of public facilities, and zoning text amendments. She has represented clients before various administrative bodies in the State of Maryland, in various Maryland Counties and municipalities, and in appellate proceedings before the Circuit Courts of Maryland, the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, and the Court of Appeals of Maryland.
Prior to joining Holland and Knight, Ms. Reutershan practiced land use law for many years as a partner and associate at a land use firm in Montgomery County.
Ms. Reutershan has appeared on numerous local seminar panels and has been a panelist at the National Association of Homebuilders’ national convention. She has served as an occasional guest lecturer at the Washington College of Law, American University.
