Thomas M. Brownell is a member of Holland & Knightâs Mid-Atlantic Litigation Group, who practices in the area of commercial litigation, with particular emphasis in the areas of design and construction law, real estate and land use litigation, defense of product liability cases, government contract disputes and intellectual property.
Mr. Brownell has substantial recent experience in the defense of government and private owners in changes and delay claim litigation on major construction projects, in Virginia and elsewhere around the country; in the defense of product liability claims involving construction projects and industrial equipment; in the litigation of disputes concerning real estate contracts and land use issues; in the defense of civil False Claims Act claims against government contractors; in the defense of employers in employment disputes; and in all types of disputes involving corporate governance and partnership accountings.
Mr. Brownell has written and lectured recently on various aspects of construction law for National Business Institutes, Inc.
