Tamara E. Kolz is a partner in the Private Wealth Services Section. Ms. Kolz represents clients in the areas of estate planning, wealth preservation and transmission, estate and trust administration, prenuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. Ms. Kolz has particular expertise in providing comprehensive advice to same-sex couples and clients with nontraditional families.
Ms. Kolz is a frequent speaker before professional and civic groups and on local radio regarding estate planning, prenuptial agreements and legal issues facing same-sex couples. As a member of the American Bar Association Section of Family Law's Working Group on Same-Sex Marriages and Non-Marital Unions, Ms. Kolz co-authored a white paper titled "An Analysis of the Law Regarding Same-Sex Marriage, Civil Unions and Domestic Partnerships."
Ms. Kolz does considerable pro bono work for the AIDS Action Committee.
