Trisha Rich is a litigation associate in Holland & Knight's Chicago office, where she practices commercial litigation.

Ms. Rich's commercial litigation experience centers on resolving disputes between businesses, and she has significant experience with actions for breach of contract, breach of warranty, fraud, consumer fraud, deceptive trade practices, tortious interference and all aspects of real estate litigation. Ms. Rich also has extensive experience representing various media entities in a variety of issues, including licensing and permissions issues, defamation liability, privacy issues, distribution issues and other liability concerns.

Ms. Rich has significant experience in state and federal courts, is a member of the Northern District of Illinois' trial bar and has argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Rich has first- and second-chaired a number of trials and evidentiary hearings.

Ms. Rich has served on the firm's Pro Bono and Charitable Services Committee since 2007. As part of that program, Ms. Rich works with area legal aid organizations to facilitate the distribution to and resolution of pro bono cases by Holland & Knight attorneys. Ms. Rich was recently honored by the Northern District of Illinois with the court's Award for Excellence in Pro Bono Service for the work she did on behalf of an indigent litigant. Additionally, Ms. Rich serves as a co-chair for a subcommittee of the Trial Evidence Committee of the American Bar Association and on the Executive Board of the Young Professionals of Chicago and spends significant time volunteering for Make-A-Wish Illinois. Ms. Rich was recently engaged as an adjunct professor at DePaul University College of Law, where she will teach a course on emergency relief and equitable remedies.
