William S. Dufoe is a member of the firm's Tampa Bay Litigation Group. His experience encompasses a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, real estate litigation, enforcement of security interests in real and personal property, warranty and negligence claims against product manufacturers and sellers, civil fraud and unfair competition.
Mr. Dufoe has represented owners, developers, design professionals, contractors, and materials manufacturers and suppliers in construction litigation in state and federal courts. He has presented seminars on the Florida Construction Lien Law and has lectured on the subject of engineers' professional liability. Although Mr. Dufoe's litigation practice has consisted primarily of commercial matters, he has defended personal injury and wrongful death claims brought against some of the firm's self-insured clients. His experience includes work at both the trial and appellate levels.
Mr. Dufoe is certified as a mediator in civil matters by the Florida Supreme Court and has been mediating cases in the circuit courts of Florida since 1992.
