Christopher J. Murdoch is a Partner in the Chicago Commercial Litigation Group. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Murdoch has had extensive experience as a trial lawyer representing corporate and individual clients in complex business and transactional disputes. He has successfully handled dozens of jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations and evidentiary hearings throughout the country. He also has argued appeals in both state and federal courts. Mr. Murdoch has particularly in-depth experience handling claims involving failed transactions, commercial financing liability claims, fraud claims, securities fraud claims, protection of proprietary business information, as well as intellectual property claims involving patents, trademarks and copyrights. Mr. Murdoch has also defended several large corporations and insurers in class action litigation.
