Gerardo Lozano Alarcón is legal counsel for Mexican banks, Mexican and foreign financial entities, Mexican and foreign companies in the area of business law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and foreign investments. He is founder and partner of the law firm of Gallástegui y Lozano, S.C., which formed a joint venture (Holland & Knight-Gallástegui y Lozano, S.C.) with Holland & Knight in February 1998. Mr. Lozano also has experience in domestic and international corporate law. For many years Mr. Lozano has focused his banking practice in the restructuring of debt representing foreign and domestic lenders.
In the last years Mr. Lozano has acted as arbitrator of the ICC, among others, as well as counsel to parties in international and domestic arbitration proceedings.
