Holland & Knight Advises Itaú Unibanco on $200 Million Syndicated Loan to Peruvian Real Estate Developer

MIAMI (January 15, 2015) – Holland & Knight served as counsel to Itaú Unibanco S.A. – Nassau Branch (Itaú) as sole lead arranger and bookrunner of a seven-bank syndicate on a US$200 million syndicated loan to Inversiones Centenario S.A.A., a real estate developer operating in Peru with more than a billion dollars in assets.

The transaction closed on Dec. 19, 2014, and was the first syndicated credit facility for Inversiones Centenario, a public company with shares listed on the Lima Stock Exchange.

Itaú was represented by Holland & Knight partner Norberto Quintana and associate Carlos Meza. Rodrigo Alvarado Uriburu and Lucrecia von Petery acted as in-house counsel for Itaú. Miranda & Amado Abogados advised Itaú as to Peruvian law on the transaction.
