Holland & Knight Selects Tamsen Plume to Lead San Francisco Office

San Francisco Executive Partner Tamsen Plume

SAN FRANCISCO (July 13, 2015) – Holland & Knight announced today that Tamsen Plume has been named the new executive partner of its San Francisco office. Ms. Plume will oversee the day-to-day management of the 33-lawyer office, while continuing her land use and environmental law  practice. She succeeds William Piels, who served as executive partner for 10 years and will return to his aircraft leasing and financing practice full time.

"Tamsen will bring her considerable talents and enthusiasm to this important leadership position," said Steven Sonberg, Holland & Knight's managing partner. "She will play a key role as we continue to expand on the West Coast to better serve our clients with interests in the region."

"I am honored and excited to assume this new role," said Ms. Plume. "We have enjoyed great success in San Francisco under Bill Piel's leadership. He will be a hard act to follow, but I look forward to this new challenge. I will be focused on ensuring the San Francisco office continues to attract the most talented lawyers in the Bay Area and to provide excellent service."

Ms. Plume joined Holland & Knight in 2005. She represents project proponents in land use and environmental permitting, compliance and due diligence matters for complex land use, development and redevelopment projects throughout California.
