Holland & Knight’s Susan Booth Named Among "California’s Women of Influence" in Real Estate

LOS ANGELES (June 23, 2015) – Holland & Knight real estate attorney Susan Booth has been recognized as one of "California's Women of Influence" by Real Estate Forum, a leading real estate industry magazine. She is among only 36 real estate professionals in the state selected for this honor based on their achievements in their local commercial real estate markets.

In a profile published in its June issue, Real Estate Forum notes that "working to expand the firm's presence on the West Coast, Booth has been a critical force in creating and maintaining Holland & Knight's influence in Southern California's real estate community." It reports that during the past several years, she was the lead attorney on more than $1 billion in real estate transactions, including the acquisition by a large shopping center investment company of a significant ownership in a major Utah retail development.

Ms. Booth, a partner in Holland & Knight's Los Angeles office, is the leader of the firm's West Coast Real Estate Group and among the most prominent real estate attorneys in California. Last year, she was named one of "Los Angeles' Power Women in Commercial Real Estate" by Bisnow and one of the top 50 women attorneys in Southern California by Super Lawyers. In 2013, she was selected "Up-and-Coming Real Estate Lawyer of the Year" by the Chambers USA Women in Law Awards.

With more than 280 lawyers and professionals, Holland & Knight's Real Estate Section is one of the largest of any U.S. law firm. The U.S. News – Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" 2015 guide selected the Real Estate Law and Land Use and Zoning Law practice groups for national first-tier rankings.
