Lobby Firms Beat the Midterm Blues

As the midterm elections approach, lobbying firms on K Street are taking advantage of increased opportunities and earnings. Holland & Knight earned almost $5 million in the third quarter of 2014, an eight percent increase over the previous year.

Public Policy Partner Rich Gold says Holland & Knight has prepared for a business expansion years ago, including decisions to do away with billable hours and bolster its advocacy in high-trafficked policy areas such as healthcare, energy and technology.
