Patrick Duffey and Patrick Emans Selected for American College of Trust and Estate Counsel’s Inaugural Florida Fellows Institute

TAMPA, Fla. (July 22, 2015) – The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), the leading organization of peer-elected trust and estate lawyers, has selected Holland & Knight associates Patrick Duffey and Patrick Emans to participate in its new Florida Fellows Institute.

The Florida Fellows Institute was created by ACTEC fellows in Florida to develop the profession's future leaders through a series of in-depth educational presentations led by outstanding subject-matter experts in each field. The six sessions in the inaugural Institute begin in September 2015 and end in May 2016.

Mr. Duffey, an associate in Holland & Knight’s Tampa office, and Mr. Emans, a Miami-based associate, will join 34 attorneys from around the state as members of the highly-selective program.

Holland & Knight has a long history of involvement in ACTEC and has more fellows than any other law firm in the United States. The firm has 19 fellows nationally, including past president Bruce Ross and past regents Christine Albright and Edward Koren.
