Top UK Regulators Reject Whistleblower Rewards

Two major United Kingdom regulators advised Parliament not to create a monetary incentive program for whistleblowers, citing a number of reasons for the decision. Litigation Partner Bill Shepherd says this is "a big win" for U.S. companies that do business in the UK.

Mr. Shepherd explains that the decision "may now give U.S. lawmakers and enforcement authorities reason to review their own practices."
