Elizabeth N. Jochum is an associate in Holland & Knight's Tysons Litigation Group. Ms. Jochum's practice focuses on government contracts and white collar defense. She represents government contractors in: bid protests before the United States Government Accountability Office as well as the U.S. Court of Federal Claims; appeals before the Armed Services and Civilian Boards of Contract Appeals; and size determination appeals before the Small Business Administration's Office of Hearings and Appeals. Ms. Jochum reviews purchase agreements and conducts due diligence for government contractors engaged in mergers and acquisitions. She also counsels prime contractors and subcontractors on a variety of matters in federal government contracting, including regulatory compliance, subcontract terms and conditions, and procurement integrity issues.

Ms. Jochum represents corporations and individuals in regulatory, investigative and trial matters – including U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and Inspector General investigations, False Claims Act (FCA) and procurement fraud investigations, compliance counseling, mandatory and voluntary disclosure matters, and internal investigations.

In her white collar and enforcement work, Ms. Jochum was a member of the U.S. Supreme Court team that secured a unanimous reversal of former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell's convictions on public corruption charges. Ms. Jochum also was a member of the trial team in that case.

While attending law school, Ms. Jochum worked as an intern at the Office of General Counsel in the U.S. General Services Administration and the Court of Federal Claims. Prior to law school, Ms. Jochum covered government contracts as a reporter for Government Executive magazine.
