James H. Rollins is a partner in Holland & Knight's Atlanta office. Mr. Rollins focuses his practice in the area of creditors’ rights. He has extensive experience in loan restructurings, workouts and recovery, including negotiation and documentation of forbearance, restructuring and workout agreements, and in insolvency and bankruptcy practice, representing a wide range of secured creditors, commercial landlords, equipment lessors, post-petition lenders and other creditors and interested parties. He has particular experience in restructuring and reworking troubled real estate loans and in bankruptcy issues affecting aircraft equipment lenders and lessors because of Holland & Knight’s extensive aircraft equipment finance practice.

Utilizing his substantial creditors’ rights experience, Mr. Rollins frequently advises clients on insolvency issues. These issues may include bankruptcy-remote structures and preference and fraudulent transfer analysis, arising in connection with business and financial transactions. He offers reasoned legal opinions on bankruptcy-related issues, such as substantive consolidation.

Mr. Rollins also has extensive experience outside of bankruptcy in commercial financial transactions and secured and unsecured lending.  He represents domestic and international lenders in the negotiation and documentation of all types of secured and unsecured financing, including inventory and receivables lines, term and revolving loans secured by tangible and intangible personal property or real estate, letter of credit and acceptance financing for international and domestic shipments of goods, and credit enhancement arrangements involving letter of credit support facilities for commercial paper and taxable and tax-exempt bond issues. He has experience in handling complex collateral arrangements and sophisticated pricing and interest rate structures. His experience includes documenting multi-creditor arrangements through participations, syndications and intercreditor agreements.
