Paul Thompson is a Boston intellectual property attorney who focuses his practice on intellectual property (IP) licensing and development, patent law, data privacy and security, and information technology. Mr. Thompson's practice also includes IP diligence for mergers and acquisitions as well as the resolution of disputes over intellectual property rights through litigation.

In addition, Mr. Thompson writes about topics pertaining to transit and contributes to Holland & Knight's Transportation Blog. He also provides pro bono assistance to tenants in housing dispute matters.

During law school, Mr. Thompson served as an associate editor on the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal. He was also a student tutor and a teaching assistant for torts.

Prior to law school, Mr. Thompson studied Engineering Physics during which time he conducted research on the denaturing effects of ultraviolet (UV) light on collagen. In addition, he served as the founder and first president of the Fordham University Robotics Club.
