Overview

Tammy Eason is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office and a member of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Ms. Eason focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and has experience in shareholder oppression actions, product liability and class action matters, international arbitration matters, and litigation implicating the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs).

Ms. Eason has experience representing clients in actions involving allegations of shareholder oppression, breaches of fiduciary duties, fraud, breaches of contract and other related business torts. She also has experience representing an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor in a multibillion-dollar arbitration before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arising out of the construction of a mega-infrastructure project. In addition, Ms. Eason has experience representing companies, including pharmaceutical and consumer products companies, in putative class actions involving allegations of consumer fraud and product liability, as well as defending plan sponsors of ESOPs, company board of directors and selling shareholders in ERISA putative class actions involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty and engaging in prohibited transactions.
