The Case for Suburbia

West Coast Land Use and Environmental attorney Jennifer Hernandez will join a webinar co-hosted by the Urban Reform Institute, the Breakthrough Institute and the Cicero Institute titled "The Case for Suburbia." The seeming success of compact cities and the supposed dangers of sprawl to the climate have led to pushback against sprawling, car-dominated cities. Yet the facts show that sprawling and car-dependent cities have grown more rapidly than dense ones for decades and are far more affordable. In this session, panelists will discuss the environmental case for suburbia.
