Holland & Knight Asset-Based Lending Team
Holland & Knight's Asset-Based Lending (ABL) Team includes 64 partners and associates located in offices in major U.S. cities, Mexico and the United Kingdom. We provide highly coordinated teams of ABL professionals to our clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, energy, lender finance, transportation and logistics, equipment rental, staffing and employment, consumer retail, commodity finance, food and agriculture, restaurant finance and many more.
Our experience extends from single-lender deals in the core middle market to some of the largest syndicated ABL facilities ever closed ($5 billion). We regularly advise bank and non-bank clients on acquisition and working capital facilities, including sponsor-driven transactions, honing our particular knowledge and experience in integrating large, syndicated asset-based facilities with complex borrower capital structures and collateral sources. These include subordinated and first lien/second lien (1L/2L) facilities, unitranche transactions, traditional and specialized collateral sources, and multicurrency and cross-border facilities.

Chris Dillon is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Atlanta office and a member of the firm's Financial Services Team, as well as co-lead of the Asset-Based Lending Team. He is a highly experienced financial services attorney who represents lenders and borrowers in a wide variety of domestic and international commercial finance transactions.

Rob Harris is a financial services attorney in Holland & Knight's Nashville office. Mr. Harris focuses his practice on helping healthcare companies, private equity firms, banks and other healthcare lenders with obtaining capital financing, acquiring businesses, funding capital improvements and navigating a complex regulatory landscape.

Wade M. Kennedy is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office and a member of the firm's Financial Services Team and co-lead of the Asset-Based Lending Team. Mr. Kennedy has more than 30 years of experience and focuses his practice on representing lead financial institutions in complex syndicated credits to asset-based and leveraged borrowers. He has significant experience documenting asset-based credit facilities in the context of sponsor-driven acquisitions, unitranche facilities and working capital, high yield/term debt and first lien/second lien transactions.

Hamid R. Namazie is a financial services attorney in Holland & Knight's Los Angeles office. Mr. Namazie focuses his practice on providing counsel to lenders on syndicated and bilateral senior secured asset-based loans and cash flow loans as well as second-lien and subordinated loans, including acquisition financings, recapitalizations, refinancings and cross-border and multicurrency lending.

Dustin Timblin represents banks, financial institutions, specialty lenders, hedge funds, mezzanine lenders, private equity firms, healthcare companies and other borrowers and lenders in complex commercial finance transactions with a focus on the healthcare industry.
