Short-Term ANLA Measures: Effort in Vain?

Environment Attorney Camila Del Villar published a column in Asuntos Legales of the newspaper La República in which she offers her opinion on measures recently emitted by Colombia's National Authority of Enviromental Licences (ANLA). These measures seek to allow ANLA to exercise some of its own functions while suspending or making conditional other actions. Ms. Del Villar says that, given the growing uncertainty about when the economic and social order will be reestablished, the ANLA should look for legal solutions that will address "bottlenecks in environmental proceedings."
