IRS Pivots to TCJA Enforcement

The IRS is shifting its focus from issuing guidance implementing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (“TCJA”) to enforcing it. As part of this effort, the IRS’s Large Business and International Division is examining 2018 and 2019 tax returns for compliance with the TCJA and published guidance.
