Balisteri v. Balisteri
Private Wealth Services attorney Jaime Herren authored a summary of the case Balisteri v. Balisteri for the California Lawyers Association's Trusts and Estates Section. The case concerned methods of trust amendment, with the probate court determining that the amendment in question was invalid. In this case, the trust required all amendments to be notarized, so because the amendment was not notarized, it was not valid. An appellate court affirmed the probate court's ruling.
