Energy attorney Claudio Rodríguez published a column in Expansión about the future of Mexico's energy sector. Mr. Rodríguez talks about the Constitutional Reform and its political purposes. Mr. Rodríguez says that it is impossible for the decree to be approved in its original terms since this would make Mexico a less competitive country and a monopolistic entity. He insists that there are only two paths left for the reform, to be rejected or substantially modified.
