Express Labor Regulation for Delivery Applications
Labor and employment attorney Camilo García published an article in Lexir about a labor regulation implemented for those who carry out deliveries through digital platforms in Colombia. Mr. García talks about the new mandate expressed by the Colombian government, which seeks to offer a work contract to those who use these platforms to make deliveries. This means that even if workers make deliveries sporadically, they will have the right to access employment benefits. According to Mr. García, this regulation does not solve the structural problems that these informal activities have and leaves doubts in the country's labor sector.
