The number of small, "craft" breweries in Florida has almost doubled since 2011 and are helping neighborhoods across the state attract business to restaurants and other establishments. These breweries are now pushing for legal changes that big, established beer distributors are unhappy with. Alcohol Beverage Attorney Joshua Aubuchon argues that allowing limited self-distribution would help new craft brewers market their products.
"We believe that a rising tide lifts all boats and that our legislation would have a very positive impact for all tiers in the beer industry," said Mr. Aubuchon.
