Could Passing Medical Marijuana Jeopardize Employment?
In November, Floridians will vote on the legalization of medical marijuana. If it passes, this amendment would call for employers to develop policies for employees, who would face some risks because medical marijuana remains illegal under federal law.
Labor, Employment and Benefits Partner Stephen Ball said: "If they [employers] do any type of random testing -- as opposed to reasonable, suspicion testing -- and your number could be called, there is a likelihood that you may lose your employment."
