Partner John Dadakis discusses the complications that ensued when estate planning for Sen. William Clark. Sen. Clark had his first child with his wife before she passed away and then became romantically involved and impregnated a 15-year-old girl that he sent abroad for school.
"He had children by his first marriage and then his wife passed away," said Partner John Dadakis. "While she was over in Europe studying, she had baby number one. When baby number two was on the way, they backdated the marriage so that baby number one was legitimate. Then he disclosed this to the children of his first marriage. They were the same age as his wife and weren’t really happy about the situation."
