article discussing how schools are managing compliance with Title IX while cutting sports programs as a result of financial losses from the COVID-19 pandemic. Ms. Judge explained that as administrators make these decisions, they need to ensure that the remaining programs receive equitable treatment and that both men and women have equitable participation and scholarship opportunities.
"Title IX still applies. It's a federal law that still applies. It's not suspended because there are financial challenges for the institutions," she said.
