CHICAGO – June 18, 2010 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Steven Elrod, a partner in the firm's Chicago office, has been elected to The Chicago Bar Association's (CBA) Board of Managers. He was installed, along with seven other new members, at the CBA's annual meeting on June 17.
Founded in 1874, CBA is one of the oldest and most active metropolitan bar associations in the United States. The Association's voluntary membership of 22,000 consists largely of lawyers and judges from Cook County and the State of Illinois. Its Board of Managers consists of 16 members elected by the membership and six officers.
Elrod is the chairman of Holland & Knight's National Land Use and Government Team and represents private and public sector clients on zoning, land use and entitlements matters throughout Illinois. He has served on the firm's national Directors Committee and as the Executive Partner of the firm's Chicago office.
Elrod is also the Corporation Counsel for the City of Highland Park, and the Village Attorney for the Villages of Lincolnwood and Northbrook.
