TYSONS CORNER, Va. – October 3, 2011 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Stuart Mendelsohn has been appointed executive partner of its Northern Virginia office, which is located in Tysons Corner. Mendelsohn, a partner who joined the firm in 2004, also serves as deputy leader of the Mid-Atlantic land use and government practice group.

Mendelsohn practices in the areas of real estate, land use, litigation, government affairs and corporate law. His clients include a broad range of corporations, non-profit organizations, builders and developers. He received a J.D. degree from the George Mason University School of Law, and M.S. and B.S. degrees from the Florida Institute of Technology. Mendelsohn formerly served on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and was recently the chairman of the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce.
