Prominent D.C. Real Estate Finance Lawyer Moves to Holland & Knight
WASHINGTON (March 24, 2014) - Erica Weiss, an accomplished real estate finance lawyer, has joined Holland & Knight's Real Estate practice as a partner in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. She comes to Holland & Knight from Bingham McCutchen.
Ms. Weiss focuses her practice on representing financial institutions, pension fund advisers and developers in a wide variety of real estate finance transactions, including conventional asset-based lending transactions, syndicated financings, multi-state transactions, participating loans, subscription lines and other commercial finance vehicles. Her practice also involves other aspects of a transactional real estate practice, including acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, partnerships and leasing.

Ms. Weiss recently assisted a client in closing more than $1.3 billion of real estate loans over the course of three months. Her work focuses on developing innovative finance structures to meet each client's business needs. She also possesses significant experience in workouts and debt restructuring.
