WASHINGTON (April 7, 2014) - Holland & Knight welcomes Claudia Hinsch as senior counsel in the firm's ERISA, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group. Ms. Hinsch advises clients on the design, administration and implementation of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and fringe benefits, as well as other executive compensation and benefits matters.

"As questions about benefits and compliance issues increase in complexity and volume, Claudia's extensive work in these areas will provide us with an experienced "go-to" lawyer to address client concerns."
Ms. Hinsch's practice includes advising on benefits and compliance issues; assisting with merger and acquisition diligence, agreements and integration; and counseling clients regarding changes in the law such as healthcare reform and the Pension Protection Act. She also handles payroll implications for the reporting of benefits, including fringe benefits, and questions related to independent contractor classification.
Ms. Hinsch received a B.S. degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and an LL.M. degree in Taxation and Certificate in Employee Benefits and a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
