WASHINGTON (June 2, 2014) - Government contracts lawyer Mary Beth Bosco has joined the Washington, D.C., office of Holland & Knight as a partner. Ms. Bosco counsels government contractors on bid protests, government investigations and other matters involving contract compliance and opportunities in the federal marketplace. She also represents private equity firms and financial institutions in connection with the mergers and acquisitions and financings of government contractors. Ms. Bosco was formerly a partner at Patton Boggs and co-chair of its Diversity Committee and previously served as a member of Patton Boggs' executive committee.

Ms. Bosco joins a growing group of government contracts practitioners in the firm's DC office and will work closely with Holland & Knight's government contracts team in Tysons Corner, Va. "I am delighted to be reuniting with Mary Beth here at Holland & Knight," said Bob Tompkins, who joined the firm's DC office in January 2014. "Holland & Knight's national platform and broad offering of substantive areas of legal, policy and business expertise are a natural fit for our practices."
Ms. Bosco has worked on a number of important mergers, acquisitions and financings of contractors, particularly in the aerospace, defense and national security arenas. "Mary Beth brings important expertise, depth and industry relationships to our M&A practice," said Bill Mutryn, co-leader of Holland & Knight's national Mergers and Acquisitions Group. "We are very excited to have her join our team."
Ms. Bosco has extensive experience assisting government contractors in complying with federal regulations related to cyber security. She regularly works with companies to prepare and implement a wide variety of compliance and training programs, including Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 3 compliance and reporting requirements for the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act. Her investigations work extends to defense of clients in False Claims Act litigation, and she has guided numerous clients through procurement fraud investigations.

Ms. Bosco received a B.A. degree from Yale University cum laude and a J.D. degree from George Washington University Law School with honors.
