ANCHORAGE, Alaska (July 28, 2014) - Holland & Knight has announced the addition of two partners, Howard Trickey and Matthew Singer, to its Litigation Practice Group in Anchorage, enhancing the firm's presence in complex commercial litigation, employment defense, environmental and appellate work in Alaska.

Matt has clients who require high-level environmental as well as employment and liability defense assistance."
Mr. Trickey's client base includes Native corporations, public entities, local governments and privately owned businesses. He has represented clients in professional malpractice cases, class actions, contract disputes, injury cases and other commercial conflicts, often achieving successful outcomes through favorable settlements, trials and appeals. He writes and speaks on topics related to labor and employment law, education law and business torts. He has been recognized for his accomplishments by inclusion in Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers and an AV rating by Martindale Hubble. Mr. Trickey received a B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. degree from Catholic University of America.
Mr. Singer represents clients in a broad range of matters, including contract and franchise disputes, employment and discrimination claims, environmental matters, fraud and unfair trade practices and election disputes. He also has an active appellate practice in state and federal courts. Mr. Singer received a B.A. degree from Colorado College and a J.D. degree cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School.
