Laurie Webb Daniel Appointed Head of Holland & Knight’s Atlanta Litigation Practice
ATLANTA (October 29, 2014) – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that prominent appellate attorney Laurie Webb Daniel has been appointed leader of the firm’s Atlanta Litigation Practice Group. She replaces Al Adams, who served in the role for four years and previously was the office’s executive partner. In addition to her new position as practice group leader, Ms. Daniel also currently serves as chair of the firm’s national Appellate Team.

Holland & Knight has more than 20 litigators in its Atlanta office practicing in the areas of complex commercial and consumer litigation, class actions, appeals, securities litigation, product liability, and labor and employment. With more than 400 attorneys firmwide, Holland & Knight's litigation practice is one of the largest in the country.

One of Georgia Super Lawyers’ Top 50 Women Lawyers, Ms. Daniel is a highly respected litigator who has appeared in appellate and trial courts nationwide, including the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition to handling appeals, Ms. Daniel routinely assists trial lawyers (at other firms as well as her own) with high-stakes litigation.
Ms. Daniel is the founding chair of the State Bar of Georgia’s Appellate Practice Section and served as the first woman president of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, Inc. At the national level, Ms. Daniel has served as a managing director of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Litigation Section and has twice acted as chair of the ABA’s Standing Committee on Amicus Curiae Briefs. Ms. Daniel is consistently recognized as a top attorney in her practice by The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA and Super Lawyers magazine.
