Mark Delegal Named Co-Chair of Holland & Knight’s Florida Government Advocacy Team

Tallahassee, Fla. (November 12, 2014) – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Mark Delegal, a partner in the Tallahassee office, has been appointed co-leader of the firm’s Florida Government Advocacy Team. He joins Bob Martinez, former governor of Florida, who has led the group since 2007.

Mr. Delegal joined Holland & Knight in 2013 and practices in the area of government affairs, representing some of the largest insurance companies in the nation, as well as Florida’s top hospitals, physicians, other healthcare entities, local governments, and numerous Florida-domiciled businesses and business associations. Some of his clients include State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, the Florida Chamber of Commerce, New York Life Insurance, Shands Healthcare, and the Compressed Gas Association. Mr. Delegal also serves as general counsel to the Safety Net Hospital Alliance of Florida and to the Florida Comprehensive Health Association.

Mr. Delegal is recognized in the area of insurance regulation by Chambers USA - America's Leading Business Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America and is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.

Mr. Delegal is a member of the Florida Chamber’s Political Institute Advisory Committee. He is also a member of  the Republican National Lawyers Association. Mr. Delegal was a member of Mitt Romney for President's Florida Finance Host Committee and a member of Florida Governor Rick Scott's Finance Team 2014.
