NEW YORK (February 9, 2015) – Holland & Knight today announced that Michael Eisenberg has joined the firm in New York as a partner in its intellectual property practice.
Mr. Eisenberg represents clients in patent, copyright and trade secret litigation across a wide range of industries including semiconductors, computer hardware and computer software. He also has extensive experience in reexamination and inter partes review proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
“We are delighted that Mike has joined the Holland & Knight team,” said Josh Krumholz, leader of the firm’s intellectual property practice. “With almost 15 years of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of IP litigation, particularly with respect to contested proceedings before the USPTO, an area which is of growing importance to our clients.”

Mr. Eisenberg received a J.D. degree, with highest honors, from George Washington University Law School. He also earned an M.S. degree in physics from Florida State University and a B.A. degree, also in physics, from Washington University in St. Louis. He previously was a partner with Latham & Watkins LLP, where he founded the firm’s post-grant review practice.
