Holland & Knight’s Jenna Bigornia and Anthony Palermo Named 2018 Rising Stars by Law360

MIAMI (August 16, 2018) – Holland & Knight Partner Jenna Bigornia and Associate Anthony Palermo were chosen as 2018 “Rising Stars” by Law360. The honor recognizes the top five lawyers under the age of 40 in the country in each of 36 practice areas. Ms. Bigornia was recognized in the Health category and Mr. Palermo was recognized for Consumer Protection.

Law360 reviewed more than 1,200 submissions for the 2018 “Rising Star” distinction. The final list includes 168 attorneys hailing from 80 law firms. Winners were selected based on their career accomplishments in their respective practice areas.

Ms. Bigornia is based in the firm’s Boston office and is a member of the firm's Healthcare and Life Sciences Team. She focuses her practice on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters. In particular, she regularly counsels members of the pharmaceutical and medical device supply chain, including pharmacy benefit managers and mail order, specialty and long-term-care pharmacies, on a variety of issues affecting their businesses.

Mr. Palermo is based in the firm’s Tampa office. He represents clients in commercial litigation matters and advises on regulatory compliance issues. His experience includes counseling clients and litigating issues involving bank regulations, corporate governance and shareholder disputes, officer and director liability, breach of contract claims, healthcare laws, consumer and commercial banking laws, and real estate disputes.
