Holland & Knight Launches HK Deal Flow®
MIAMI (Sept. 5, 2018) – Holland & Knight today announced the launch of HK Deal Flow®, a unique program that facilitates deal leads by matching acquisition or capital raising opportunities with buyers and investors. The initiative is an extension of Holland & Knight's vast knowledge and experience in the private equity and M&A space and reinforces the firm's commitment to deliver new opportunities and value to its clients and partners.
HK Deal Flow utilizes the firm's network of more than 1,400 lawyers and advisors to leverage their deep knowledge of markets and industries to find acquisition and investment opportunities. Over the past year, Holland & Knight informally conducted the deal flow program and based on the positive feedback, the firm is formalizing the process to bring access to the program to a wider group.
A key differentiator of the program is that it is not limited to existing Holland & Knight clients. Both clients and prospective clients can take advantage of deal introductions. The program also provides broad distribution for opportunities presented to Holland & Knight by sellers, companies seeking capital and deal intermediaries. In all cases, no finders or similar transaction fees are charged to program participants. HK Deal Flow allows the firm to bring buyers and sellers opportunities from a wide geographic area that they would not be able to identify on their own.
"HK Deal Flow allows us to tap into our firm's wealth of experience and deep network, not only in the M&A space but also across a wide range of industries to facilitate introductions," said Keith M. Ferry, Director of Business Development at Holland & Knight. "This exciting, new program is all about creating long-term client relationships and adding value for our clients."
Holland & Knight's M&A and Private Equity lawyers have handled thousands of transactions across all industries and geographic locations. During the past year, the HK Deal Flow program has sourced over 300 deal opportunities and facilitated over 400 introductions for program participants.
