MIAMI (May 28, 2019) – Holland & Knight Partner Emil R. Infante was appointed to the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) Board of Trustees. The PADF Board of Trustees is made up of 15 members who are elected for their personal commitment to PADF's mission of assisting disadvantaged people in Latin America and the Caribbean.
PDAF assists vulnerable and excluded people and communities in the Americas to achieve sustainable economic and social progress, strengthen their communities and civil society, promote democratic participation and inclusion, and prepare for and respond to natural disasters and other humanitarian crises.
Mr. Infante is a member of Holland & Knight's Latin American Practice and focuses his practice on securities, financial regulation, banking, family office services, restructuring, cross-border transactions and international dispute resolution. Mr. Infante also has significant experience with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), anti-corruption, anti-money laundering investigations and compliance within the U.S. and Latin American markets, as well as experience with the Magnitsky Act. In addition, Mr. Infante advises sovereign nations, foreign companies and family groups doing business in the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean on complex corporate and financial matters.
