Holland & Knight's Laura Lewis Named “Rising Star” in Aviation by Euromoney

NEW YORK (February 4, 2021) – Holland & Knight Associate Laura Lewis has been selected as a 2020 "Rising Star" in the Americas by Euromoney Legal Media Group, the legal publishing arm of Euromoney Institutional Investor, one of the world's leading financial publishers. She was selected in the Aviation category for her work in the USA.

The honorees are selected by senior Euromoney editorial staff following an extensive research process that looks at candidates' professional accomplishments, recent advocacy and influence within their practices, as well as peer reviews and referee commentary. Only attorneys who have up to 15 years of professional experience and are under 40 years old are considered.

Ms. Lewis, an associate in the firm's New York office, regularly counsels clients on some of the most complex transactions in the industry. She advises leasing companies and financial institutions, as well as airlines, on the purchase, sale, lease, novation, interchanges, secured and unsecured financing (including pre-delivery payment financing) and securitization of commercial and business aircraft, engines and parts. In July 2020, she was named a Rising Star by Airfinance Journal.

Ms. Lewis is an active participant in industry events, including the Airline Economics conference in Dublin, Tri-STAT and the International Aviation Women Association's (IAWA) events and conferences. She also serves as a member of the Aeronautics Committee of the New York City Bar and the Forum on Air & Space Law of the American Bar Association.
