Holland & Knight Advises Bladex on MX$1.475 Billion Debt Issuance

MEXICO CITY (October 12, 2023) – Holland & Knight represented Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior S.A. (BMV: BLADEX), a Latin American regional export development bank, in its issuance of MX$1.475 billion (approximately US$87 million) in debt securities in the form of bonds (certificados bursátiles). The securities were placed and publicly offered on the Mexican Stock Exchange on October 6.

The transaction was divided into two tranches, the first one for the aggregate amount of MX$1 billion (approximately US$59 million) with a three-and-a-half-year term maturity and the second one for the aggregate amount of MX$475 million (approximately US$28 million) with a five-year term maturity.
