Overview

Amir Alimehri is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's New York office. Mr. Alimehri handles a wide range of matters in federal and state courts around the country, with a focus on commercial disputes, complex class action litigation, life sciences business disputes and product liability.

Mr. Alimehri has particular experience with New York and New Jersey state and federal court matters, having served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sallyanne Floria of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Essex County and having interned for federal district court judges. Mr. Alimehri was also an honor's intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) Division of Enforcement in New York, and he interned with an in-house legal department of a global pharmaceutical company.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Alimehri was a litigator at boutique complex class action law firms in New York.

In addition, Mr. Alimehri earned a certificate in Corporate and Business Law from Rutgers Law School's Center for Corporate Law and Governance. He also has a certificate in Alternative Investments from Harvard Business School Online.

Mr. Alimehri is interested and active in diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. He currently serves as a court-appointed committee member on the Essex Vicinage Advisory Committee on Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement, and is a founding board member of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group Alumni Association. He also speaks conversational Farsi.
