Ricky Alvarado is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Dallas office. Mr. Alvarado focuses his practice on a variety of corporate transactions.

Mr. Alvarado is experienced in public company representation and corporate governance matters. He represents issuers in capital markets transactions such as public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. He also represents various public companies in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Alvarado was an attorney for a national law firm as part of its corporate and securities practice in its Houston office. During law school, he was the executive editor of the SMU Science & Technology Law Review.

Prior to law school, Mr. Alvarado served as a public policy fellow for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) in Washington, D.C., where he worked in the U.S. House of Representatives and the White House Office of Digital Strategy.
