Deisy Castro is a Los Angeles labor and employment attorney and a member of Holland & Knight's Labor, Employment and Benefits Group. Ms. Castro's practice focuses on complex wage and hour litigation, in addition to counseling and representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. She is well versed in representing employers in wage and hour collective, class and multi-plaintiff actions nationwide, and serving in a lead role in every step of the litigation process. Ms. Castro is equally adept in defending employers in connection with traditional labor and employment matters, such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination claims.

As part of her practice, Ms. Castro also counsels employers on a variety of employment issues, including proper employee classification, compensation, and workplace policies and handbooks. Ms. Castro has experience advising and representing clients across multiple industries, including finance, technology, communications, hospitality, healthcare and retail, among others. In addition, Ms. Castro has experience in employment-related immigration matters.

Prior to law school, Ms. Castro spent many years working in immigration law, with an emphasis on employment and immigration visa petitions for corporate and individual clients in the entertainment, business, research and education industries.
