Deisy Castro is a Los Angeles labor and employment attorney and a member of Holland & Knight's Labor, Employment and Benefits Group. Ms. Castro's practice focuses on counseling and representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. She is well-versed in representing employers in wage and hour collective, class and multi-plaintiff actions nationwide, as well as discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination claims.

As part of her practice, Ms. Castro counsels clients on a variety of employment issues, including proper employee classification, compensation, and workplace policies and handbooks. In addition, Ms. Castro has experience in employment-related immigration matters.

During law school, Ms. Castro was the executive managing editor of the Los Angeles Public Interest Law Journal and served as a judicial extern at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to law school, Ms. Castro spent eight years working in immigration law, specializing on employment and immigration visa petitions for corporate and individual clients in the entertainment, business, research and education industries.
