Leanne Elaine Chia

Leanne E. Chia is a financial and corporate transactions attorney in Holland & Knight's New York office and a member of the Corporate Services Team. Ms. Chia primarily advises clients in a broad range of matters with a focus on emerging companies, venture financings, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate governance.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Chia was a law clerk in the emerging companies and venture capital group of a prominent national law firm. Her previous experience includes clerking for a citizen-based environmental advocacy project, where she assessed the viability of potential lawsuits by analyzing state data on pollution events and made strategic recommendations based on the organization's resources and regulatory impact.

While in law school, Ms. Chia participated as a clinic student in an Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, an international Human Rights Clinic and a Non-Profit Clinic.
