Kelly DeWitt is a labor and employment attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office. She defends management clients in all aspects of employment litigation in federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies across the country. Ms. DeWitt also has significant experience advising clients on best practices and compliance with a broad range of employment laws. For 20 years, she has provided comprehensive legal representation to some of the nation's largest corporations, as well as small to midsize companies.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. DeWitt served as in-house counsel to a global leader in tire technology and innovation. In this role, she successfully defended a high volume of employment-related claims before federal, state and local agencies, as well as those made under the company's alternative dispute resolution plan. In addition to representing the company's multiple business units in administrative proceedings, Ms. DeWitt routinely handled mediations and negotiated legal settlements; conducted investigations of employment claims; partnered with human resources leadership on employment matters; drafted and assisted with implementation of company policies and procedures; and developed and delivered employment-related compliance training.
