Overview

Paulina Doen Castillo is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office. Ms. Doen focuses her practice on legal matters and development of projects in the oil and gas sector, as well as in foreign trade and customs.

Ms. Doen is particularly experienced in providing legal advice on natural gas transactions, as well as in the preparation of all kind of contracts and documents relate thereto. In addition, Ms. Doen has in-depth knowledge of Mexico's regulatory framework pertaining to the midstream and downstream sectors.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Doen worked as in-house counsel in a decentralized government entity in charge of the management of the largest natural gas pipeline transportation and storage infrastructure in Mexico.

In addition, Ms Doen earned third place for an article, "Legal Framework for the Fuels Market in North America," in a 2021 writing competition hosted by the U.S.-Mexico Bar Association (USMBA).
