Ashley Fisher

Ashley Fisher is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston office and a member of the Data Strategy, Security & Privacy Team. Ms. Fisher's practice focuses on advising clients on privacy, data protection and cybersecurity compliance programs.

Ms. Fisher has broad experience with the growing number of laws in the privacy space, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other comprehensive U.S. state privacy laws, the European Union (EU) and United Kingdom (U.K.) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), state biometric information laws, including Illinois's Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), and laws regulating the use of artificial intelligence (AI).

In addition, Ms. Fisher assists clients across a wide range of data and privacy-related issues, including vendor strategy and contracting, product counseling and digital advertising partnerships. She also helps clients evaluate the privacy and security risks posed by potential acquisition or merger targets and notification requirements under state data breach laws.

Ms. Fisher is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the United States (CIPP/US) and member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Fisher was an associate in the data, privacy and cybersecurity practice of a global law firm in its Boston office.
